About:
My work focuses on immersive audio responsive procedural lighting and animation design systems, engineered for live concert or theatre performances.
I create fully immersive responsive environment experiences, engaging audio-visual designs and tech-based media interactions.
I design digital instruments which explore the principles of performance by augmenting objects to synthesize sound from gestural input and are also mapped to control the performance environment.
I am one of the cofounders of a DIY music and art performance venue, The Sunroom, which brings together and gives a platform for creators local to Tempe, Arizona.
I am one of the first Max MSP Certified Trainers. I have taught lectures and workshops both locally and internationally at all levels from adults and college students down to high school summer camps. I also worked as a teaching assistant and tutor while pursuing my MA in Arts, Media, and Engineering at Arizona State University. I have uploaded several Max MSP tutorial videos to youtube and have built a sustain audience of people who enjoy and learn from my teaching style.
